Hey gang!
My name is Marie McIntosh and I write this blog. Since graduating college, I found myself unable to write with any kind of purpose or direction, and this is an attempt to retrieve my chops from the bottommost desk drawer I stowed them in when I graduated college.
The title and domain of this site refers to the high-grade honey that the worker bees produce to nourish larvae and produce a Queen for the colony. I discovered in the spring of 2008 that I am not a worker bee.
I’ve lived my entire life in Massachusetts. I grew up in Tewksbury, just south of the NH border, and have lived in Boston since 2004. In December 2009, I moved to the Bay Area and am now enjoying all the artichoke hearts and warm winters that Northern California has to offer.
