So, the HCR bill has been put through and the world still turns. I had a really hard time not losing my mind any time I read some self-righteous remark about it on FB. So much so, in fact, that I posted one of my own. OOPSIES. Lots of people in MA were repeating some Republican [...] The target: a crumpled sheet of looseleaf notebook paper with SAT-level geometry problems written incorrectly on it. In ink. Dangers include: papercuts, and, um, well the ink is non toxic so blood poisoning is out, but maybe gangrene will set in and you’ll lose a finger and wish you’d never taken that damn sheet [...] Spent the weekend in the city, sitting around and reading in the sunshine.
It’ll be nice when I have real live friends to hang out with in sunny parks. [...] Ruin, roo-ween, ruuuueeeeen. Ever see that episode of Family Guy? No? Ok. I love the Academy Awards. Well, no. I love fancy dresses and George Clooney, and the Oscars are always chock full of both. Speaking of- George? You are now officially too old for an ironic haircut (please tell me you think that look is funny, PLEASE). Alert Brad Pitt as well. I’m going over some red carpet [...] |
